17. this is not a chapter (sorry! but read for important update)

Author's NOTE for new readers/subscribers:

Hey, y'all. I know some of you have been waiting YEARS for an update. I want you to know that after being stalled on this forever (it seems like) I have started working on it again. I can't say when it will be updated, but probably later this summer. I will remove this update when that happens.

Going forward, be aware that some serious angst is headed your way. Also, this is still firmly a polyamorous!Steve Rogers story, so yes, it will continue to be Steve/Tony/Pepper as well as Steve/Bucky (if that's not your jam, I totally understand! But I wanted to be clear about it). I've locked the timeline to branching AU from the first Avengers movie, which was when the story was started anyway. So, while The Winter Soldier did not happen in this 'verse, it informs a lot of story re: Bucky's backstory and current condition.

I cannot tell you how much your comments and kudos on this story have meant to me. When it derailed after I re-introduced Bucky into the 'verse (he was actually never intended to be a part of this story when I started it) I honestly thought I would just pull it down and pretend it never happened. But you all love "More Man than You" so much and have supported "Sins of the Father" so much that despite being out of the MCU fandom by and large, I feel like I can come back and give my best to this story.
